Mr Alexander: On behalfe of myself as well as my wife Annu, we would very much like to thank you for taking your time talking with us at the Columbus conventioncenter, Saturday the 1:th of March. You really made our day with your great attitude!!
Good luck to you in your next fight against James Irvin, and remember that you have our full support from us on the other side of the Atlantic!! //Erik
Message:Good luck April 2 Houston (though I don’t think you’ll need it)! Give Irvin a good Nebraska ass whoopin. I got my picture taken with ya at the Victory fights last Dec. and you signed my Husker hat that’s now on my wall. That was the highlight of the whole night for me. The UFC is lucky to have you. You’re a class act and a great representive for the sport of mma. Keep on rockin.
P.S.- The Jardine fight was awsome!

Hey Houston,
I’m the Canadian you spoke and took a picture with at the Arnold’s on Saturday in the grappling area. You mentioned you were interested in coming to Toronto at some point. It’s a great city. Just wanted to throw you an invite to come to Canada. I live in Windsor (across from Detroit about 4 hrs from Toronto), also a great city, and started training MMA in October. The summer is a bangin’ time in this city.
Let me know if you’d be up for the trip.

Houston,
Thanks for calling back in response to the email the other day. I hope everything went well for you at the Arnold. I did want to ask you a question I forgot about Saturday. What on earth do you do for a work out program? I about dropped my beer when I saw easily you picked up Thiago Silva by the throat and choke slammed him. I have been doing a little powerlifting (bench, squat, dead lift, etc) but I don’t know if you would recommend continuing with that or switching to body weight exercises and calisthenics. Do you have any specific exercises you can recommend? I can’t wait to watch you wreck the Sandman. I don’t think he realizes what he signed up for.
Take it Easy,
Brent

It was a pleasure getting to meet to you and shake your hand at the Arnold Classic yesterday. I was lucky enough to meet you outside of the convention in the lobby. You are truly a class act. Your dedication to MMA while raising a large family is very comendable. I appreciate you being so down to earth and taking the time to talk to me. Best of luck to you in April.
Thanks again for the highlight of my trip. I hope when I’m in nebraska I might get a chance to see your gym.

Houston,
Thanks for the call last week; it made me realize that you really care about your fans and your home town boyz (it really made my day). I thought it was my Grandmother because of the area code, you know how old ladies can be, anyway. I called you back and left a voice message; I haven’t called you back because I know how busy you are. All I want to do is help you win and succeed, if there is anything I can do as a fan, friend or investor let me know. Thanks again for the call and stay up!! You are a BAMF…

I’m a huge fan. I’m an Air Force officer located at Thule AB Greenland and I’m originally from Omaha Nebraska. I have seen all your professional fights & you kick ass. I’m proud to say that you are one of the best light heavy weight MMA fighters I have ever seen. I’m glad to see that you acknowledge Omaha as your home town/fighting of location; there are too many posers that have left Nebraska & won’t represent. Every time you have fought I have made sure that I have seen the fight. Usually, the fight doesn’t start until midnight & doesn’t finish until 3:00am in Greenland. I have made it a point to notify everyone here of your fights to make sure they watch. I will be PCSing to Germany in about a month; if you ever have a fight in Europe my wife & I will be there to cheer you on.

Whats up bro. It’s Jason from Cincinnati. I was the guy in the wheelchair you came to see at UFC 77 in Cincinnati. Thanks for coming up to see me and take a picture with me. I created a myspace page like you said but I never heard from you so I deleted it. I thought I may have a better chance to get a hold of you through your website. Don’t leave me hangin. I will have to knock you out. Just kidding. I wanted to drop you a line to see how you are doing. I hope your training is going great. I am looking forward to seeing you drop some people in the octagon. I read on your website you are into dj-ing. Are you still doing it. I may have to come and check it out if you are doing sometime. Hit me back.

Houston,
When is your next fight? I was sad to watch the last one in the UFC but a man of your stature can come back and really make some adjustments to win big in the UFC.
I was a single father of one 2 year old daughter. It was just her and I until she turn 6 and I am now married. My hats off to a man who can raise 6 children. Keep up the great work.

Hello Houston
My name is Janaka Abeyaratna and I am from montreal canada. Like so many of us we were blown away watching your fights. I have seen every UFC and am a huge mma fan, at one time in my life i used to fight. What really impressed me was what you have done in your personal life 6 kids single parent , education and have given the gift of life to your daughter. I am dialysis patient and understand the issues faced someone who has kidney disease. Your performance as a professional fighter with one kidney has given me alot of inspiration to go back to training and enjoy the sport as much as i can.
Best Wishes and hope to see you fight in montreal one day.

My question is that I used to Fight out of North Platte with Wiesmans Fight factory and Now I took a job here in Omaha and want to train. You may know my bud Luke Cadillo? We grew up togather and he recommended hookin up with your gym as well did Kelly Weisman. It would be a great honor and pleasure to fight out of your gym. Houston,
It’s pure pleasure to watch you fight. I have to say, though, that it’s equally cool to see and hear you display the character attributes of a “role model” and a father. As far as I can tell, you’re a real credit to yourself and your family.
Oddly enough, as I’m typing this Spike/UFC is reshowing your fight against Alessio Sakara. Nice KO!
Anyway, I just finished listening to the interview that was posted on 1/15 and thought I’d take the time to pass on my best wishes.
Looking forward to your next fight with James Irvin. Remember, it’s not just Nebraska. You do the whole United States proud…

As bad as that one hurt, I don’t think anyone believes that it is a reflection of your true abilities. As a Houston Alexander and former Nebraskan, I look forward to seeing your true character shine through in your next fight, hopefully a rematch with James Irvin. He may have acted like he was shooting at you after the match(totally immature and unprofessional), but he knows he’s the one who dodged a bullet, so to speak. I have three young men that really pull for you in your ascent up the ladder, I hope you don’t let something like the last match bring you down. I’m sure you’ll learn from it and come back stronger than ever. Good Luck and God Bless.
Wishing you nothing but the best,

All of the BS that posted over on some of these keyboard warrior forums about you made me want to sing some praise. If that fight happened again, I would still put my money on you. I do not think the referee stoppage was early though, and you are one of my favorite fighters. Keep kicking ass, its only a bump in the road that will make you stronger. Looking forward to seeing you in another fight… and soon!

Let me tell everyone something. THIS MAN IS AS REAL AS IT GETS!!! Being a fan of The Assassin I let him know by sending him a note and the man called me this morning to tell me HE appreciated it. I’m a 30 year old police officer that happens to be a huge Houston Alexander fan. I’ve been into sports since I can remember and have tried to interact with the “big guys” since I was a kid. This man called me to tell ME he appreciated my support. I can only hope and pray that sponsers out there are paying close attention to this man. Not only is he explosive in the octagon, his personality is about the most easy going, likeable and sincere as I have ever encountered. When I teach my fellow officers about survival, I tell them to have the determination that Houston has, because if they do, no matter what they encounter they will prevail.
Houston,
You are the best. I can’t tell you how much your call meant to me. I’m still a little shocked and not sure what to say other than; If you need anything, anything at all, you know how to contact me. I’ll do anything I can to help. Any man that is as real a person as you are, has my utmost respect. It’s hard to imagine people like you exist in the busy world that you work in. Just know that today, you made someone’s year……and that made my wife your #2 fan!
God Bless

Houston; I just wanted to thank you for allowing us the fans the right to watch you pound on your opponents in the UFC Octagon. Your last fight didn’t go the way us fans would have liked but we are still behind you 100% bro. We all know that you will learn from this fight as you learn from every fight. Only you can do what you do best bro, kick butt, its all we ask for. By the way; I take my hat off to you man, raising a family by yourself is no easy task, don’t know how you do it but keep it up. The fans got your back brother, take the next win.

Hope you reach this message. I am your no.1 fan in the Philippines. I watched all your available mma fights and all your ufc fights. I was just so disappointed with your last two fights. I seems like your are not the houston i used to idolized. You let your fans down. So embarrassing to watch.

Hey Houston. Tough loss, when I watched you fight Jardine I was immediately a fan of yours. That was in my opinion top 3 KO’s in MMA history. I hope you knock Belcher out man. I hope you get a rematch vs Irvin and Silva because I know you can knock there ass out 10x more violently and I should say you wold beat them 9/10 times. Hope you come back even stronger than your UFC debut because I know you can do it!
WAR Houston!
